Well, I'm not sure how far this will go, considering how the board is not very active, but I figure it's worth a shot anyway. I'm an ambitious screenwriter looking to hook up with local filmmakers on any projects they might have going on. Although I feel the area I could best contribute to would be the creative development of story, structure, dialogue, or even creating the screenplay in its entirety with your input, I would like to learn all aspects of the project I'm involved in, with a focus on production and direction.
So pretty much, I'm all yours. An eager assistant, more than willing to help out in the areas I can, that would make any project I'm working on one of my top priorities (with my family and work obligations coming first, of course). I'll exchange my work services for the opportunity to learn.
If you would like a copy of my full length screenplay, "Carborundum", as a sample of my work, just let me know.

A few friends at UTEP and I have talked about making a short "spaghetti" style western. But we don't even have a plot yet, and we're barely getting ideas for characters. If that interests you, feel free to help us out man. We're looking at making this only 10 to 15 minutes, with a minimal amount of locations. What's the pitch for Carborundum?

Carborundum Logline -
Faced with extinction by the hands of the Artificial Intelligence war machines they created a century ago, mankinds last hope is Carborundum, the first and only A.I. of his kind. Now, in their last hour, he must decide if there is something worth saving in humanity.

Spaghetti Western isn't something I eve thought of doing. Not really my genre. This might allow me to give you a fresh view. If you have some ideas about what you are looking for, or if you could email me about those characters, I could definitely get a treatment going. Email me what you have so far. Any other projects you need penned?

Sounds awesome! Send me the screenplay for sure. I'll email you in a bit too with the details on the western.
