The UTEP Sun City Film Festival 2010
The UTEP Sun City Film Festival 2010 is a competitive festival for currently enrolled UTEP and El Paso/Juarez/LasCruces border region students, over the age of 18 - OR independent filmmakers whose videos were completed while they were students in the region. Videos under 20 minutes completed since January 2007 will be accepted for consideration.

UTEP Cinema Novo Presents We Will Rock You, a music film series designed to rock your socks and get you into the beat! We'll even help you accessorize with our handy dandy "Ampzilla" commemorative rock and roll button. We Will Rock You happens on March 26th and 27th at the UTEP Union Cinema.
We Will Rock You is open to the public and will run from Friday, March 26 to Saturday, March 27th at the UTEP Union Cinema. Tickets for each film are $2 for non-UTEP Students and $1 for UTEP students. Tickets will be sold prior to each film at the UTEP Union Cinema. For more information, please call 915.747.5481. |

| How about peace? |

If you think yes, attend the showing of the film "One Peace at a Time", featuring music of The Band, Bob Dylan to name a few, and an appearance by Willie Nelson. This film shows solutions to five issues: water, nutrition, shelter, health and education worldwide. The film is presented by the Las Cruces Friends of the Department of Peace. It will be shown at 10 am in the Fountain Theater on March 13, Saturday. Mark your calendar. There will be a Q&A following. There is no charge for attending though we do request a donation. Funds will support both the film and the Department of Peace conference. |
